MEET PASTOR JIM S. AMSTUTZ, CO-PASTOR

  • Family: Jim is married to Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz and they have three children Solomon, Jordan, and Leah.

  • Professional Experience:
    • 2001-present: Co-Pastor at AMC
    • 1994 to 2001: Senior Pastor, West Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown, Pennsylvania. During this period of time Jim also served as Interim Overseer, Franconia Conference and Eastern District Representative to Commission on Home Ministries.
    • 1991 to 1994: Co-Program Coordinator, Akron Service Unit, Mennonite Central Committee. During this period of time the Amstutz family worshiped at AMC.
    • 1987 to 1991: Campus Pastor and Director of Church Relations, Bluffton College.
    • 1987 - Licensed for Pastoral Ministry: Central District Conference of the General Conference Mennonite Church; 1989 Ordained for Pastoral Ministry.
    • 1980 to 1984: Director of Draft and Peace Counselor Training, Mennonite Central Committee, U.S. Peace Section.
    • 1976 to 1980: Youth Coordinator for Central District Conference (East).

  • Education:
    • MDiv Pastoral Ministry, Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries, Elkhart, IN
    • B.A. Elementary Education, Bluffton College, Bluffton, OH.
